How does astronomy affect our lives?
Astronomical Technology I Met in My Life
Astronomical Telescope
These three photos were shot by me when I watched and studied my classmate Harry assembling a telescope during a stargazing session with the school astronomy club. An astronomical telescope is an optical instrument designed to observe distant objects in space, such as stars, planets, and galaxies.
Purple Mountain Observatory
During my time at Zeal Labs Research in Nanjing, I visited the Purple Mountain Observatory. The Purple Mountain Observatory, which is shown below, is the "Cradle of Modern Astronomy in China." Though its original site is a Nanjing museum, its network of advanced telescopes is dedicated to high-precision observation of Solar System bodies, monitoring Near-Earth Asteroids, and conducting Dark Matter research, making it vital for China's space and astronomical capabilities.
